Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan visited the brutally beaten 13-year-old resident of Gyumri Nazeli Khachatryan who is undergoing treatment in the intensive care unit of “Surb Astvatsamayr” medical center.
“Many of us were saddened by the news about the girl and her murdered mother, but let’s admit that this girl and her mother also became victims of the opinion that violence in general, and violence against women in particular, may be justified,” he noted.
A mother and her minor daughter were severely beaten in Gyumri on March 5. The woman died, and the girl is critical.
