Secretary of State: U.S. stands ready to continue support for Karabakh settlement

The U.S. is ready to continue to support the normalization of Armenian-Azerbaijani relations, as well as the settlement of the Karabakh problem. In a telephone conversation with Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken said.

Both sides exchanged views on normalizing relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan, specifically, on the November 7 meeting of the foreign ministers of the two countries in Washington, D.C., and the subsequent trilateral meeting, the press service of the Armenian government informed NEWS.am.

Pashinyan praised the U.S. efforts and the personal involvement of Secretary Blinken.

The interlocutors agreed to continue discussing steps to improve security and stability in the region, including the resolution of humanitarian issues.
