The Saber Junction 16 multinational military exercise is wrapping up at the United States Army Joint Multinational Readiness Center in Hohenfels, Germany
The Ministry of Defense of Armenia informed Armenian News-NEWS.am that a 32-member medical unit from the Armenian Armed Forces is also taking part in these drills, ever since March 29.
Saber Junction 16 includes nearly 5,000 soldiers from 16 nations.
During the military exercise the Armenian delegation provided Level 2 medical care in compliance with NATO standards.
This medical staff of the Armenian Armed Forces provided urgent medical aid under conditions similar to combat operations.
In addition, Lieutenant General Frederick Benjamin (Ben) Hodges, commanding general of the United States Army Europe, met with these Armenian military servicemen.
