The efforts of the international community should first of all be directed at neutralizing Azerbaijan’s destructive policy.
Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR/Artsakh) Karen Mirzoyan told the aforementioned to journalists Tuesday after the meeting with the EU Special Representative for the South Caucasus and the Crisis in Georgia, Herbert Salber.
Responding to the question on the role of the EU in the solution of the Karabakh conflict, the FM noted that their position on this was repeatedly voiced. It is specifically manifested by the support to the efforts of the OSCE Minsk Group. Besides, EU stated about its readiness to take measures towards the creation and strengthening of a climate of confidence between the sides.
“The efforts of the international community should first of all be directed at the neutralization of Azerbaijan’s destructive policy. And only after this we can speak of the measures taken in the direction of confidence-building,” Mirzoyan said.
