The St. Laurent Federal Liberal Association elected a new executive and board of directors on Monday the 16th of March, 2016.
The meeting was opened by a message of the Hon. Stéphane Dion who could not be present as he was called to Vienna to participate in the Syria peace talks. He wished the members a good meeting and urged them to be united in their vision for a better and more united Canada. His message was read by his riding office chief staff, Mr. Jocelyn Decoste.
The main agenda item was the election of a new executive and board of directors. The members present overwhelmingly chose members of the Kelvin Mo team. Mr. Mo was elected the new president of the executive. Four Armenian members were elected as well. Mr. Shiraz Keoshgerian, as an executive member and VP of membership, as well as Mrs. Aida Karibian, Mrs. Arsine Attarian and Mr. Viken Attarian as directors.
Mr. Mo and Mr. Decoste thanked the Canadian Armenian community for mobilizing to renew the St. Laurent Federal Liberal Association board with new members and expressed wishes of continuing mutual cooperation.
