Armenian PM Hovik Abrahamyan received Executive Director of the Dutch World Bank Group, Frank Heemskerk.
The PM highly appreciated the effective cooperation between the Armenian Government and the World Bank, noting that it is developing in a climate of great confidence.
Abrahamyan attached importance to the implementation of joint programs with WB in Armenia in areas of reforms and infrastructure development, expressing conviction that the bilateral cooperation will be a success also in the future.
For his part, Frank Heemskerk thanked the PM for the reception, stressing that the WB will continue providing support to the Armenian Government in the areas of infrastructure, financial sector development, energy, etc.
During the meeting, the interlocutors also discussed a range of issues related to the cooperation between the Armenian Government and WB, as well as its prospects.
They also referred to the priorities and current programs of WB’s 2014-2017 partnership strategy with Armenia.
