Turkey needs to stop hiding head in the sand on the issue of crime against Armenians, a Turkish politician of Armenian origin said.
“This kind of mass murder is a crime against humanity. In my family, on both sides, people were killed at this time. An explanation should be given. We demanded that the Turkish parliament commission was set up, but, unfortunately, no background has been prepared for it so far,” said Selina Dogan, MP from Republican People’s Party.
She noted that the decision taken by the Bundestag differs from others, because it also mentions the complicityof Germany.
Even many Turkish historians called it a crime against humanity, she said referring to the Armenian Genocide.
