Turkish TV channel not to broadcast German programs due to Armenian Genocide resolution

The Turkish Kanal D TV channel has ceased its partnership with the Public Television of Germany, ZDF, after the Bundestag adopted the resolution on recognizing the Armenian Genocide

Kanal D will no longer broadcast ZDF’s segment of news for children due to the various complaints from the viewers after Bundestag’s decision last month, dpa reports.

On June 2, Bundestag, the lower house of the German parliament, formally recognized the Armenian Genocide.
