Armenian FM and Georgian President discuss cooperation

Armenian FM Edward Nalbandian, who is on an official visit to Tbilisi, met with the Georgian President Giorgi Margvelashvili on Monday.

Welcoming the guest, the Georgian President stressed with satisfaction that it is always pleasant to receive high-ranking guests from friendly Armenia and discuss possibilities for the further development of good-neighborly relations between the two states.

Thanking for the reception, the Armenian FM briefed his Georgian counterpart on the meetings he had in Tbilisi, as well as the results of the discussions.

At the meeting, the interlocutors discussed issues related to the expansion of the Armenian-Georgian cooperation, referring to the possibilities of regional cooperation.

Nalbandian also briefed Giorgi Margvelashvili on the efforts of Armenia and OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs towards the implementation of the agreements regarding the Karabakh conflict reached at Vienna and St. Petersburg summits, which will enable to make progress in the peaceful settlement process of the Karabakh conflict.
