Armenia’s Defense Minister Seyran Ohanyan spoke of the situation on the border at a meeting with reporters on Wednesday.
According to him, the situation is calm, with few instances of crossfire.
“Our neighbors commit ceasefire violations. But we do not retaliate in case of sporadic shooting,” the minister said.
Asked if the current situation is just “calm before the storm,” Mr Ohanyan said that Armenia is always ready to retaliate.
“We are always on the alert and ready to stand any storm,” Mr Ohanyan said.
