We need to communicate with our Diaspora compatriots, Prime Minister of Armenia Karapetyan stated at the discussion on the work carried out by the ministries in 2016 and the priorities for 2017, the press-service of the Government informed Armenian News – NEWS.am.
Reporting on the results of year 2016, the Diaspora Minister Hranush Hakobyan noted that the work with the migrants from Syria and the events aimed at raising the level of the Armenian language among the Diaspora youth continued last year.
The priorities of the Ministry remain almost the same in 2017.
PM Karapetyan, for his part, underscored the importance of the Ministry’s activity in strengthening the ties with the Diaspora, noting: “We need to communicate with our Diaspora compatriots. We should raise the recognizability of our country thanks to renowned and successful Armenians,” he stated.
