Prime Minister Karen Karapetyan on Thursday asked the cabinet to consider measures towards enhancing the business atmosphere by adopting business-friendly policies for companies and individual entrapreneurs.
Karapetyan cited a plan of actions adopted in 2017 outlining steps towards improving the sector.
He also stressed the importance of public awareness -aising and proper feedback, as well as the use of information technologies.
“A consistent monitoring of elaborated policies is necessary and just mandatory,” he added.
Karapetyan asked the minister of economic development and reforms to develop, in collaboration with the Center of Strategic Initiatives, short- and long-term objectives proposing steps to bridge the existing gaps. A corresponding plan of actions is to be submitted within a two-week period.
