Armenia acting PM has phone talks with Canada’s Trudeau

Armenian acting Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan held phone talks on Friday with Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau.

The Canadian Prime Minister congratulated Nikol Pashinyan on holding high-level elections in Armenia adding that it is important not for Armenia only, but for the whole region and world.

Nikol Pashinyan highlighted the importance of international observers for such a high assessment of the elections.

Now there are more opportunities for further development and enhancement of Armenian-Canadian relations, and it’s time to work in this regard, acting PM noted.

Justin Trudeau, in his turn, noted that Canada is ready to do its best to support Armenia. According to him, Canada has great investment opportunities in many fields and the government is ready to support them to become reality.

Armenian acting Prime Minister noted that it is important for Armenia to attract Canadian investments in order to bring our country to high standards of governance.

The leaders expressed hope to have another opportunity to meet in the near future and discuss bilateral agenda.
