The sector of high technologies is a priority for Armenia, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan told reporters in Moscow.
According to the PM, there are several investment programs in Armenia’s technological sector, and they hope to turn the high-tech sector into the locomotive of Armenia’s economy.
“Of course, the digital agenda along with the development of the high-tech sector is very important for Armenia and the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU), in general. We were just talking about it with Tigran Sargsyan. I said in my speech that the electronic control will facilitate the movement of goods within the EAEU,” Pashinyan said, adding the Eurasian Economic Commission is working on it.
The PM also said that Tigran Sargsyan, Chairman of the Board of the Eurasian Economic Commission, has informed that they will present the EAEU digital agenda plan in May of this year.
