Armenian Defense Minister Davit Tonoyan on Monday received Fr. Guy Chapdelaine, Chaplain General of the Canadian Armed Forces.
They discussed cooperation between the chaplain services within the Armenian and the Canadian Armed Forces, the Ministry of Defense of Armenia informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.
Also, the interlocutors agreed to continue the cooperation and to exchange knowhow in chaplaincy during peacekeeping missions, chaplains’ role in the Christian upbringing of soldiers and officers and on some other matters of mutual interest, and to have two chaplains of the Armenian Armed Forces trained in Canada.
