Յունուար 31, 1992-ին Հայաստանի անկախութեան անմիջական վաղորդայնին, Հայաստանի Հանրապետութիւնը դիւանագիտական յարաբերութիւններ հաստատեց Գանատայի հետ եւ անկէ անմիջապէս ետք բացուեցաւ նաեւ Օթթաուայի մէջ Հայաստանի դեսպանատունը: Այսպէս ուրեմն, այս Երկուշաբթի՝ Յունուարի 31-ին, կը նշուի Գանատա- Հայաստան դիւանագիտական յարաբերութիւններու հաստատման 30-րդ տարեդարձը: Այս առիթով ջերմօրէն կը շնորհաւորենք Ն. In a few days, on January 31st, you will mark the 30th anniversary of the establishment of Diplomatic relations between Canada and the Republic of Armenia which took place on January 31st 1992.
The Armenian Democratic Liberal Party of Canada ADLP (The Ramgavar Azadagan Gousagtzoutyoun) wishes to extend to you, as the distinguished representative of the Republic of Armenia in Canada, its warm congratulations on this significant occasion.
As one of the core active organizations within the Armenian community of Canada we value highly the establishment and continuation of productive and cordial relations between Canada, our cherished country of adoption, and the mother homeland, Armenia.
Indeed, as proud citizens of Canada, one of our main objectives is to try and complement the outstanding diplomatic work of the Embassy of Armenia and our distinguished Ambassadors, through our own publications and personal contacts, in order to help secure that the relations between the two countries be highly productive, based on the mutual understanding of their respective vital needs and interests
In retrospect, and to mention only some among many of the exceptional instances of past years success in that respect, one may recall the official recognition of the Armenian Genocide by the Parliament of Canada, in 2006, and the 2018 highly successful visit paid by the Very Honorable Prime Minister Justin Trudeau of Canada, to Armenia on the occasion of the 17th Summit of the International Organization of Francophonie that was held in Yerevan, the capital of Armenia, which served to strengthen further the relations between the two countries..
Today more than ever the role of your diplomatic efforts in Canada has a vital importance. Indeed, Armenia is currently living through some of the very difficult periods of its history following the aggression it suffered a year ago. While we citizens of Canada do our own share,
we welcome particularly, dear Ambassador Harutyunyan, your own exceptional efforts that we know you have been exerting to convey to the proper instances of our Canadian governing bodies the critical geographic and political intricacies of utmost complexity that Armenia faces currently. We are convinced that thanks to your efforts, Canada as the uncontested international champion of justice and peaceful coexistence among nations will provide support to Armenia’s current legitimate expectations for justice and peace.
Happy 30th anniversary. We wish even further strengthening to the continued Armenia-Canada strong and productive relations
