UN Security Council to convene meeting on Nagorno-Karabakh on September 21 – TASS

The UN Security Council will convene a session on September 21 to discuss Nagorno-Karabakh, TASS news agency reported citing a source in the UN.

“The session is to take place on Thursday,” the source told TASS, adding that it will take place in the afternoon New York local time.

Since the 78th session of the UN General Assembly is currently underway in New York, it is possible that heads of some delegations will participate in the UNSC meeting.

Azerbaijan on September 19 launched a large-scale attack on Nagorno-Karabakh. As of 20:00, at least 25 people were killed and 138 were wounded in Nagorno-Karabakh.
