Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Mao Ning offered condolences to Armenia over the disaster at a press conference today, May 28.
“China noted that the flooding in northern Armenia has resulted in multiple fatalities, injuries and loss of property. China expresses sympathies to Armenia. We believe the Armenian people will overcome the disaster and rebuild their homes. China is, as always, ready to do everything we can to help”, – she said.
