Armenia’s national debt surpassed $12 billion as of June 1, opposition MP Artur Khachatryan warned on Monday.
“The Armenian government’s tireless efforts to save the nation caused the country’s national debt to exceed $12 billion as of June 1,” he wrote on Facebook.
The MP from the opposition Hayastan faction underlined that the national debt per capita amounted to more than $4,000.
