By the order of the Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sports of Armenia, the list of scientific topics guaranteed for funding as a result of the 2024 competition for the establishment of remote laboratories has been approved.
As a result of this competition, funding was guaranteed for 18 scientific topics. The scientific research groups, consisting of a leader from abroad and two to five members, will have five years to implement these topics.
During the first two years, new scientific departments—remote laboratories—will be formed in the organization where these scientific groups will work, and this is one of the main goals of this competition.
The aforesaid competition is held for the third time. According to the results of previously announced and summed up competitions, 15 and 18 scientific topics were selected, respectively.
The total maximum amount of funding for each project is 130 million drams (approx. US$336,000).
