Political prisoners should be released and Azerbaijan should fully cooperate with the Committee for Combating Torture. Frank Schwabe, head of the German delegation to the PACE, wrote about this in social networks.
“The Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe certainly cannot be blackmailed. The conditions are very clear,” he wrote. According to Schwabe, Azerbaijan must comply with all PACE rules without any “ifs” and “buts.”
