Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian on Wednesday received the NATO Deputy Assistant Secretary General for Defence Policy and Planning, Jonathan Parish.

Nalbandian positively assessed the accomplishments that have been achieved as a result of the ongoing Armenia-NATO cooperation.

The interlocutors conferred on Armenia-NATO political discourse, Armenia’s effective participation in international peacekeeping operations, reforms in the country’s armed forces, and Armenia-NATO collaboration in emergency prevention.

Also, Edward Nalbandian presented the ongoing efforts by Armenia and the three OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairing countries (Russia, US, and France) to achieve a peaceful resolution to the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, and stressed the need for supporting the respective activities by the intermediaries.
