On August 25-27, 2017, Bishop Abgar Hovakimyan, Primate, paid a pastoral visit to the Armenian community of Yellowknife, in the Northwest Territories.
Primate’s visit brought exceptional joy and happiness, as well as spiritual nourishment, to members of the northernmost Armenian community in Canada.
During the visit, Primate celebrated a Liturgy and blessed grapes for the community members who gathered to mark the Assumption of Holy Virgin according to the traditions of the Armenian Holy Apostolic Church.
