Last Saturday, August 12th, Honourable Eva Nassif, the Vimy Member of Parliament of Canada, had invited all citizens of her district, and friends, to her traditional Annual Summer BBQ that was held at the Park St. Martin in Chomedy.
A large crowd of citizens of the neighbourhood, friends and political figures, active at the municipal, provincial and federal levels were present, expressing their support to Ms. Eva Nassif who serves her district and the nation with diligence and dedication.
Representatives of the ADL, and the Tekeyan Cultural Association of the Armenian Community were also present. Aida Karibian, Dr. Arshavir Gundjian, Arto Manougian and Ara Balian in particular, expressed their appreciation and support, and also exchanged views and information on issues concerning the community, with the MP and her political attaché Viken Darakjian. They wished Ms. Nassif continuing success at the forthcoming new parliamentary session.
