The Armenian MP candidates, who were nominated by three political parties in Turkey, have again become deputies as a result of Sunday’s early parliamentary election in the country.
Accordingly, attorney Selina Özuzun Doğan, who was first on the Istanbul 2nd Electoral District Election List of the main opposition Republican People’s Party (CHP), was reelected MP.
Journalist Markar Esayan, who was fourteenth on the Istanbul 2nd Electoral District Election List of the ruling Justice and Development Party (AKP), again has become a member of the Turkish parliament.
And activist Garo (Garabed) Paylan, who was second on the Istanbul 3rd Electoral District Election List of the opposition pro-Kurdish “Peoples’ Democratic Party” (HDP), was reelected, too.
