Armenia’s new Ambassador to Argentina, Estera Mkrtumyan, on Monday presented her credentials to President Mauricio Macri.
At the ensuing talk, they stressed the warm and high-level relations between the two countries, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Armenia informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.
President Macri expressed willingness to contribute to the development of Armenian-Argentine relations.
Ambassador Mkrtumyan likewise assured that maximum efforts will be made to further enhance and strengthen ties between the two friendship countries.
Subsequently, the Armenian ambassador headed for San Martín Square, in the Argentine capital city of Buenos Aires, where a ceremony was held during which she laid a wreath at the monument to Argentine national hero, General San Martín.
