Armenian FM: Meeting in St. Petersburg was quite useful

Armenian FM Edward Nalbandian considers the meeting held in St. Petersburg at the level of Armenian, Russian and Azerbaijani leaders quite useful.

“The meeting was quite useful and with certain care I can say that it was held in a constructive climate.  The presidents realized that if they reach agreement on a range of issues, progress can be achieved in the [conflict] settlement,” Armenian FM Edward Nalbandian told journalists, Panorama reports.

In his words, an agreement has been reached to contnue the meetings on the level of both presidents and FMs.

“The process will take place in the format of the OSCE Minsk Group Chairmanship,” Nalbandian added.

A joint statement has been adopted as a result of the meeting of Russian, Armenian and Azerbaijani presidents in St. Petersburg.
