Member of the Canadian parliament Bob Saroya strongly condemns “the acts of aggression by the Azerbaijani military who launched multiple offensives against the ethnic Armenian population of Nagorno Karabakh, in direct violation of a 1994 ceasefire.”
“The hostilities that have ensued are a serious threat to the stability of the region. The Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) Minsk Group, charged with mediating this conflict, must hold the Azerbaijani leadership accountable for its actions if it is to reach a peaceful solution,” he said in a statement.
“The Conservative Caucus supports an immediate return to a true ceasefire and meaningful negotiations.
My prayers are with the families on both sides of the front lines who have lost loved ones as a result of this reckless aggression.”
