Armenian-born pianist Nareh Arghamanyan was the first prize winner in the Montréal International Musical Competition in 2008. Since then she has made a name for herself both on the concert stage and on disc with memorable performances of virtuoso repertory by composers like Liszt and Rachmaninoff. On July 26, she will present to Festival-goers a totally different kind of repertory, Bach’s sublime Goldberg Variations one of the towering monuments of music.
