Reconstruction of the building of the Armenian orphanage, which is known as Kamp Armen (Camp Armen) and located in the Tuzla district of Istanbul, has been launched, reports Agos Weekly, according to “Armenpress”.
The works will be carried out by a special delegation that includes representatives of various local Armenian organizations, as well as funds and organizations. An international architecture competition will soon be announced on the sidelines of the camp reconstruction project.
The leadership of the Tuzla district has started cleaning the area near the camp with special machines.
