7.7 million foreigners were granted the citizenship of the United States over the past ten years, Rambler.ru reports citing the figures released by the US Department of Homeland Security.
According to the source, 27,000 foreigners granted the US citizenship were from Armenia. In the accounting period, 9.7 thousand Georgians and more than 8 thousand Azerbaijanis were granted the country’s citizenship.
