Armenia PM: We have 8.1% economic activity index

The economic figures for July have been quite impressive. We have an 8.1-percent economic activity index. The Prime Minister of Armenia, Nikol Pashinyan, noted this in a Facebook post.

“This is a wonderful number,” he added. “In addition, industrial production volume growth—16.1 percent, construction growth—4.1 percent, trade turnover growth—9.1 percent, services growth—14.9 percent, average nominal wage growth—8 percent, export growth—19.5 percent.

“These are really very good numbers. Understandably, this does not mean that we have resolved all matters. This means we are moving forward. At quite a good pace.”
