The residents of Aygehovit village in the Tavush province of Armenia have ultimately decided not to carry out harvesting in their vineyards that are under constant Azerbaijani fire. The prefect of Aygehovit, Levon Grigoryan, told the aforesaid to Armenian News-NEWS.am.
“As soon as they [i.e. the villagers] go to the vineyards, the Azerbaijanis starts shooting,” Grigoryan said. “It’s impossible to come close to these vineyards. We have prepared the acts at the provincial governor’s order and submitted [them] to the provincial hall; let’s see what they can help with.”
The provincial administration of Tavush had decided to stop the grape harvest in the Aygehovit vineyards, where there is 150 tons grape harvest.
