As usual the Aliyev regime propaganda uselessly tries to turn the reality upside down. RA Ambassador to Belgium and Armenia’s representative to the EU Tigran Balayan wrote about this on his X-page, responding to the Azerbaijani side’s statement regarding the non-existence of the Pashinyan-Aliyev meeting in London.
“Armenia has suggested and still ready to organize a meeting between Nikol Pashinyan and Ilham Aliyev at the EPC summit,” he wrote.
Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan and President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev are in London, they are participating in the 4th summit of the European Political Community.
Today, the Azerbaijani side announced that Pashinyan refused to meet with Aliyev in London. “The British side proposed holding a meeting, and the Armenian prime minister’s refusal to do so is a retreat from the peace agenda,” said Assistant to the President of Azerbaijan – Head of the Foreign Policy Department of the Presidential Administration Hikmet Hajiyev.
Yerevan then countered with Baku. The Armenian Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued the following statement: “Yerevan then countered with Baku.The Armenian side’s proposal is in effect.
