Azerbaijan has completely destroyed Mokhrenes village of Hadrut district, which was under Azerbaijani control during the 44-day war in 2020. This is reported by the “Geghard Foundation”.
“Azerbaijani vandalism is not limited to the destruction of monuments, cemeteries and monastery churches.
Azerbaijan is purposefully destroying Armenian villages and neighborhoods. Satellite images show that most of the village houses, school, kindergarten and other buildings have been destroyed. In total, more than 40 houses and buildings have been destroyed by October 2022, and the St. Sargis Church in Mokhrenes has been completely destroyed,” reads the report published on the Foundation’s Facebook page.
