Armenia’s well-known DJ Hayk Solar and designer Faina have also joined the Armenian General Benevolent Union’s fundraiser campaign for supporting Syrian-Armenians, as posted on the Facebook page of AGBU Office in Yerevan, according to Hayern Aysor.
“We thank all those who responded to and joined this campaign. Join, spread the word and participate in the fundraiser! Every penny is important,” AGBU Yerevan’s page reads.
Since 2012, the AGBU has provided the Syrian-Armenians with $2.5 million dollars in assistance. The organization also envisages collecting another $2.5 million dollars to help the Syrian-Armenians recover from the war.
