The Anti-Corruption Committee of Armenia is investigating the criminal proceedings regarding the first Armenian satellite—ArmSat-1—program, Armenian News-NEWS.am has learned from the prosecutor’s office.
The prosecutor’s office added that this case is related to possible misuse by the Ministry of High-Tech Industry of Armenia in the ArmSat-1 program.
There were press reports that the ArmSat-1 program had failed, and the $8 million allocated for it from the state budget of Armenia had been misspent.
