Major part of the projects by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) will be carried out under “EU for business” motto, member of EU delegation to Armenia, Ludwig Ciechanowski told reporters.
The European Union usually works with the partners and does not provide direct assistance.
A number of projects to be carried out jointly with EBRD will be launched next year, he said pointing at the program aimed at development of small and medium-sized business in Armenia
“It is important for Armenian authorities to improve business climate in the country,” he said, adding that in this case European companies will definitely invest in Armenia’s economy.
Mr. Ciechanowski noted that they are receiving many complaints about the authorities from the Armenian companies.
