Israeli Genocide Scholar Visits Artsakh

On Feb. 21, Artsakh Republic’s President Bako Sahakian received famous Israeli social scientist and associate professor at the Open University of Israel, Yair Auron.

The two discussed a range of issues related to the history of the Armenian people, the Azerbaijani-Artsakh conflict settlement process and regional trends during the meeting.

Sahakian praised Yair Auron’s research on the history of the Armenian Genocide from academic and moral viewpoints, outlining that the professor’s works have made a serious contribution to the study and international recognition of the Armenian Genocide, as well as to cultivating friendly ties between the Armenian and Jewish people.
