Continuing its destructive policy, the military and political leadership of Azerbaijan has taken the tension on the border to a qualitatively new level. Karabakh Defense Minister Levon Mntasakanyan said the aforementioned today, summing up 2015.
According to him, this year was marked by a steady growth of tension on the border. The Minister also said that the adversary used tanks and artillery for the first time since the conclusion of the ceasefire, parallelly continuing the infiltration attempts.
All the attempts of the adversary were driven back, causing casualties on the Azerbaijani side, Mnastakanyan said.
“Unfortunately, our soldiers heroically fell in carrying out their service duties. Hats off to them and let them rest in peace,” he said.
The Minister also added that this year the link between the army and the society has enhanced, as well as replenishment of weaponry and technology has been carried out.
“Today we can say that the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR) Defense Army has accomplished its main mission, namely the ensurance of the security of its people and NKR,” Levon Mnatsakanyan said.
