New round of interrelations is opening for Armenia and Korea, as a result of which the intercultural and interreligious ties should also enhance. Catholicos of All Armenians Karekin II said the aforementioned at the meeting with the newly appointed Ambassador of South Korea Park Ro-byug, whose diplomatic residence in Moscow.
During the talk, the Catholicos referred to the cooperation of the Korean churches with the Holy See Inter-Church Relations Department, Etchmiadzin Information system representatives told Armenian News – NEWS.am.
With this respect, Karekin II recalled his participation in the 10th assembly of the World Council of Churches (WCC) held in the Korean city of Busan in 2013, as well as his communication with the Christian Churches operating in Korea.
For his part, Korean Ambassador assured that during his service he will do his best to contribute to the enhancement of the Armenian-Korean friendly relations and expansion of efficient cooperation.
