Soap production volumes rose by 95 percent in Armenia in January-October 2017 to stand at 306.2 tons, according to the figures released by the National Statistical Service (NSS).
The statistics show some 157 tons of soap was produced in the country in January-October of the past year.
The production volumes of washing, cleaning and starching agents also increased in Armenia. Namely, a total of 3323.2 tons of detergents and starching agents was produced within ten months of 2017 compared to the 1385.3 tons produced in the indicated period of 2016.
