Any concession from Yerevan to Baku’s barbaric regime will lead to new and “more brazen” demands and preconditions, says Vardan Voskanyan, a Yerevan-based specialist on Iran who heads the YSU Iranian Studies Chair.
“The delusion that a real peace with the enemy is possible is the sure path to the humiliating enslavement and destruction of Armenian state,” he wrote on Facebook on Friday.
“There is only one way out: reasonable militarization of Armenia everywhere and formation of a fortress state, which would be able to break the hand of the barbarian who dares to threaten us with his fist.
“Yes, Armenia must become a fortress, not a cellar for organizing parties, because otherwise our blood, not wine, will flow through the central streets of Yerevan,” the expert said.
