YSIP is a unique opportunity for Armenian students from diaspora all around the world to spend 6 summer weeks in Armenia exploring their Career path, expanding their Network, enhancing their Future and connecting with their Homeland.
AGBU’s Yerevan Summer Internship Program offers Armenian college students a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to gain valuable professional experience while immersing in a full schedule of educational, cultural, and social activities in Armenia’s capital. During weekdays the participants will be interning under the supervision of the best experts in their chosen fields, while the weekends will be filled with excursions, museum tours, fun trips and free time to discover Armenia.

The Application process for YSIP 2016 is now open and the deadline for applying is 1 March 2016 (so only about a month left to apply!).
Details of the Program:
Eligibility: Applicants must be enrolled in an accredited university as a sophomore, junior, senior, or graduate student between the ages of 19 and 26 and creative workshops, maintain a grade point average of at least a 3.0 (B) or international equivalent. Active participants in public service oriented activities serving the Armenian community are always appreciated.
Program Duration: June 19 – July 31 (6 weeks)
Application Deadline: March 1, 2016
Program Fee: YSIP: 2000 USD ($50 application fee included). There are Scholarships available!
The participation fee covers accommodation (the interns will be living all together on the AGBU colorful and cozy Guest house with internet connection and 24/7 security), language and dance classes, lectures and creative workshops, sponsored dinners, networking events, memorable sightseeing and fantastic trips. They should also submit the official transcript and 2 recommendation forms which should be directly mailed to our AGBU office in NY (55 East 59th Street, New York, NY/ Attn: Yerevan Summer Internship Program) or emailed by the Reference Contacts only (from their official/personal email addresses) directly to gmanukyan@agbu.org .
