MFA Spokesperson: No need for evacuation of Lebanese Armenians

The settlements in Lebanon, where predominantly Armenians live, are not under direct threat, so there is no need to evacuate them for security reasons. Armenian Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Ani Badalyan stated this in an interview with “FactInfo.”

It should be noted that, according to representatives of the Armenian community, the situation in Lebanon is uncertain and complicated.

So far, the Armenian Foreign Ministry has limited itself to appeals not to visit Lebanon.
