Fifty-two members of the European Parliament (MEPs) have signed a statement calling on Azerbaijan to immediately release the Armenian prisoners of war (POWs), guarantee the protection of Artsakh’s (Nagorno-Karabakh) Armenian cultural heritage, and withdraw the Azerbaijani military from Armenia’s occupied territories.
The MEPs who have signed this statement are from the main political groups of the European Parliament, but there are also several independent MEPs.
