Armenia attached great importance to the development of cooperation with Sweden in the political, economic and humanitarian spheres. Armenian FM Edward Nalbandian, who is on a working trip to Brussels, said the aforementioned at the meeting with Sweden’s FM Margot Wallström.
Nalbandian noted that the Armenian-Swedish relations have reinvigorated in the recent years, this being reflected in the reciprocal visits and intensity of political dialogue between the two countries.
During the meeting, issues on the organization of high-level reciprocal visits, more close cooperation in the international organizations and expansion of legal and contractual framework were discussed.
FMs Nalbandian and Wallström also exchanged ideas on Armenia-EU cooperation.
Furthermore, the interlocutors referred to the urgent international issues and the effort aimed at their solution.
Edward Nalbandian briefed Margot Wallström on the efforts of Armenia and the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs aimed at the settlement of the Karabakh conflict.
