The US is committed to jointly working with Azerbaijan and Armenia, to support for the establishment of direct negotiations between them for finding solutions to the unresolved issues. US ambassador to Azerbaijan Lee Litzenberger told this to journalists, APA reported.
The diplomat noted that the US supports any initiative leading to the achievement of peace between both sides.
According to him, the European Union (EU) has already taken very positive steps in this regard, and the US supports these initiatives of EU.
